Current Opportunities

Under supervision and guidance of the Community Development Team Leader, carries out the duties of over-seeing the Dowagiac Site to meet the needs of older adults in Cass County. Promotes excellent communications and public relations between the agency, the community we serve, and the organizations we partner with. To plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the Dowagiac Site. Close cooperation will be required between this position and the other departments to achieve the COA’s overall goal. The position requires demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills.


Under supervision of the Community Development Team Leader, this position plans, coordinates and promotes a variety of senior activities which will enhance the quality of life for seniors living in Cass County. This position is responsible for the management of the fitness, wellness and other activities on a daily basis.


Cass County Council on Aging, Cass COA, is a non profit organization with a mission to provide quality of life programs to seniors in our community. If you have a desire to help seniors, while working with a great organization and a great program, this job may be for you! The hours are Monday through Friday- No weekends. This is a full time first shift position. This is perfect for new nurses or nurses who are looking for a set shift with no weekends.

Job Summary: Under supervision of the Adult Day Services Director and the Care Services Team Leader (RN), assists in meeting the needs of participants in the Adult Day Services unit.

Nature and Scope of Job: This position monitors basic medical needs and assessments for adult day care.
