Under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition and the Operations Team Leader, this position assists with dining room duties.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operates the cash register and maintains and completes daily reports. Deposits receipts in the bank.
- Converses with the clients about the quality of the food and service. Relays feedback to supervisor.
- Supervises café volunteers.
- May assist with inventory control activities.
- Serves or assists with serving of meals.
- Prepares food (sandwiches and salads) for clients as needed.
- Assists special needs clients as appropriate.
- Will be cross-trained to perform other duties within the department to assist as needed.
- Will be cross-trained to perform other duties within the facility and assist when short-handed.
